plenoptic

Plenoptic at CCN 2026

Come learn about plenoptic at the Cognitive Computational Neuroscience conference in New York City next week!

We will be presenting a poster in the first poster session, from 9:30 – 11:15am on Tuesday, August 4.

The poster will discuss a feature added in version 1.4.0: the use of penalty_function to bias metamer optimization. The poster will include examples showing how to incentivize perceptual diversity, add biologically-inspired constraints to a model of cuttlefish camoflage, and combine deep nets with texture statistics.

Come by and chat! If you’re not sure you’ll be able to come to the poster but would like to talk, send an email to neurorse [at] flatironinstitute.org. In addition to the poster, we would be happy to discuss how you can use plenoptic in your research, and if you’ve already used plenoptic, we would love to hear how!
